About Us
This School made an humble beginning in the year 1968 with just 26 Students on roll. In 1973-74, permission and temporary recognition was obtained from Director of Public Instruction for classes L.K.G; U.K.G and I to V in the name of “Exhibition Society’s K.G. & Primary School, Exhibition Grounds Hyderabad”. Later in 1975 the school name was changed to “Shankarji Memorial School” sponsored by the Exhibition Society. The permission to open VII class was obtained during 1975-76. During the years 1977-1980 the school was upgraded into High School with permission from Director of School Education to open classes VIII, IX, & X. The first batch of 10th class appeared for SSC Public Examinations in the year 1980 and achieved cent percent success. There onwards, we have been maintaining this standard of excellence.
The school is recognised by State Government and sponsored by Exhibition Society. The school has classes Nursery to X in English medium only. There is only one section of each class. The school is managed by Governing Body
nominated by Exhibition Society.
Tuition Fee is charged for twelve months and collected in 10 equal instalments. Our school fee is affordable by middle and lower middle class of the society with maximum facilities.

Infrastructure
- We have a very safe and secure campus and the school building is well ventilated and furnished.
- We have Library, Science lab, Math lab, Computer lab with latest technology giving access to every child. We have good physical education facility and a colourful nursery section.
- To compete with growing advance technology and to match the aspirations of the parents, management has introduced computer aided technology SMART CLASSES for the students of classes I to X in 2014.
- For the safety and security of the children C.C. Cameras are installed in and around the school building.
- For communication with staff and children, public addressing system is installed.
- We have mineral water plant with R.O. principle and solar plant to curb the electricity charges.
Faculty
We have 16 teaching, 2 non-teaching and 7 office subordinates . The teaching staff are trained graduates.
Academic Standards
The scheme of Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) has been implemented following the guidelines of the Department of Education, Government of Telangana. We follow the state syllabus for classes IV to X and use Government prescribed text books. We follow text books of Private publications for classes Nursery to III.
In addition to the regular study we engage the children with co-curricular activities like art, craft, general knowledge and computer science classes.
We, at our school inculcate eco-friendly education that is Harita Haaram, waste management, clay modelling, life skills and value Education”.
Our students have physical education activities in various sports like Karate, Archery, Table-Tennis, Hand-Ball, Sepak-Tekram, Chess and Caroms etc.
Every day we have Yoga and Physical fitness class to enrich mental and physical development.
We evaluate the students by conducting ‘4’ formative assessments and ‘2’ summative assessments. We also conduct inter house competitions in literary, cultural and sports category for the all round development of the child.
A progress report is forwarded periodically to parents through parent-teacher meetings.
Faculty Placements
Placements are done through advertisement and conducting interview and demonstration which is supervised by a panel consisting of Governing Body Members, Head Mistress and Subject expert.
Achievements
We have achieved 100% SSC results since 1980. Our SSC topper of 1997 secured state 6th rank. Our school students perform exceedingly well in academics as well as co-curricular activities at school level, district level,state level and national competitions. Our alumni are successful doctors, engineers, chartered accountants, teachers and sports persons.
The school celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 2018. The Chief Guest was Mr. T. Vijay Kumar, Commissioner and Director of School Education Government of Telangana.

Mrs. B.Sujata was appointed as Mathematics Teacher in 1998. She got promoted as Head Mistress in 2007. Her qualifications are M.Sc., M.Ed. She teaches mathematics for class X. She has been serving this institution for 23 years. She got best teacher award from School Education Department.
